ISA Certified Arborist and Tree Nursery
Thomas Guggenheim, PhD
Owner, ISA Certified Arborist (IN-3447A)
We provide native trees (and some non-invasive, non-native) trees and shrubs using a patented system to grow a containerized plant with a superior root structure in local soil. This results in a low mortality rate and steady growth. Plants are guaranteed for 1 year if cared for properly.
We provide expertise before and after planting with 30,000+ plants in stock. Plants are 2 to 6 feet in height and sold October through April (when dormant or pre-bud break). Plants are currently $35 to $70 each (plus tax).
Planting native species is essential for the restoration of wildlife and provision of food for animals and birds. Posey County has 17 native oaks, the most important tree for wildlife, and all are in stock. Even if you have a small area, plant native species!
